IE not only refuses to comply with established web standards, it also leaves its users vulnerable to bugs, bad programming and major security issues. The less you know about these issues, the more you should be relying on Chrome, Firefox or Safari as your browser.
Although IE is the most used browser, it is NOT the most popular for the reasons listed above.
